Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What type of landfill is All Weather?

A landfill is a large outdoor site specifically designed for the disposal of waste. Not all landfills are the same. Different kinds of landfills accept different kinds of waste including:

  • Industrial waste

  • Hazardous waste

  • Construction and demolition debris (clean fill)

  • Municipal Solid Waste

All Weather Landfill is a clean landfill.

Why do we need a landfill?

Jefferson County and St. Louis metropolitan areas need an outlet for proper disposal for this type of waste. Eventually the landfill will “fill” in the area to allow for the ability to build upon it.

Is the Landfill really important to our community?

Absolutely! The landfill provides affordable, responsible waste disposal options for residents and businesses.

What additional steps are taken to ensure that the Landfill is a good neighbor?

Proper daily operations are critical to sound waste disposal. Employees at All Weather Landfill are trained to handle incoming waste in the most responsible manner. Access to the site is limited to one entrance/exit. The facility records and tracks all trucks with gate receipts and a network of video cameras. Once unloaded, the waste is visually inspected again. Litter is minimized by limiting the size of the active disposal area.

What are the hours and location?

We operate Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm. Conveniently located in House Springs, accessible by Route M/Route MM/Highway 21 off Old Missouri 21: 4175 Old State Road M, House Springs, MO 63051.

what can I expect upon ARRIVAL?

Payment is required at the gate before entry. Access into the property is adequate for dump trucks and vehicles pulling trailers. We do our best to ensure there is turn around space available for larger trucks. You will be directed by signage and/or onsite personnel on where to unload.

Do loads have to be covered or tarped?

Only if material is loose and may blow out. For safety and environmental reasons, it is critical to cover or tarp and secure all loads in such a manner that no debris can fly out or become airborne in any way. Please respect the safety of everyone who lives in the areas en route to the landfill as well as fellow drivers and passengers.

Can I bring my recycled material to All Weather?

No, we are not an approved recycler. Electronic recycling nearby is located at MRC in Imperial.
